Basically we bought most of the souvenirs at this shop, located just a few steps from the Metro of Piccadilly Circus. Prices low but not too high. There is pretty much everything, cards, stuffed animals, t-shirts, sweatshirts, bags, pens, monuments in miniature, gadget of Mr Bean, tea boxes, key rings will be spoilt for choice ...;)

For those of you who do not want to read the long text: Looks nice, takes forever to checkout, friends pulls too much money for things that then eh not you. Absolutely not to recommend. For those who read the whole story? From the outside, the store looks real good. When I was there, I don't know if it's always like, even a nice man in Britain welcomed us clothes. Worked really nice. Well them, masses of cool UK/London stuff. Huge selection. But what has then been a bit confusing. It is addressed in some parts of the shops French. Hello? This is a store for English souvenirs. In other parts, they speak very bad English, in which even I as a non English native speaker, an accent out hear. I have nothing against foreigners, I love foreigners, I also don't mind if you operate a gift shop, but it is just not as authentic. Then one seeks out what is, the prices are ok for such a Tourigegend in my opinion, goes to the cashier and have to wait forever because the cashier simply does not check it. That lasts forever. Especially when you're in a hurry, this is of course great. I asked Dan to postage stamps. Others had bought already which before me. Then that takes first again forever, until which has entered it in his Office, and until he has even checked what he is doing. I already mega in a hurry, ask him if he even can hurry up, he's doing well, give him the money, quickly he me the bag and return money. I'm running out fast because I must hurry. When I check the Züte later, I hardly believe my eyes, the get did not me just the postage stamps. When I look at the receipt, it also makes no sense. The price for the souvenirs, nor for the post cards I had gotten even voted. I am very satisfied and would recommend this place to people who like to throw money out the window and have a massive time. I'm quite sure not more then going.

  • Very good place if you are visiting London and want to buy some Britain-themed souvenirs, all in one centrally-located store. The selection is quite huge. Other than that, well, you probably wouldn't feel any need to go here...
  • This was my second trip to London, England and remembered this shop from my first visit. It's right off the Piccadilly Tube stop on the Piccadilly Or Victoria lines. So very easy to get to. The shop has a hugh selection of items on 2 floors. I never made it to the lower level because the main floor had everything I needed and by the time I had looked at everything on the main floor the store was getting ready to close. So make sure you give yourself enough time to see the entire store. After being in London for a week and looking around at other souvenir shops and sidewalk venders I was convinced that that Cool Britannia had the biggest selection and on average the best prices. I even found myself looking for the store online to order some additional items, for my very large family. Merry (or as they say in London) HAPPY CHRISTMAS and All the Best for the New Year. Best Regards, Mark J. Gallagher New Orleans, LA, USA
  • The worst experience in London ! Shop is dirty and staff is horrible ! I was looking for case for my phone, they was watching me like I want still something another thing it was that they start comment that I am with lollipop ''why are you with this lollipop,is so small for you''.I was with hoodie and one guy he pull my hoodie from behind! THIS IS NOT HOW STAFF SHOULD TREAT CUSTOMERS ! Zero respect for women ! I will not leave this like that !
  • Souvenirs and memorabilia store. While there are numerous options, no out of the ordinary or non regular items to pick from.
  • A really big, a bit expensive but cool shop where to buy souvenirs. Bring visits under your own risk!! :P

Where to stay in London

Many of London's main attractions are spread out, so nearby public transportation is key. There is no downtown area as such in London, and some of the least expensive hotels have more convenient access to tourist sites than the costlier ones. For a quintessential London experience, consider staying in the West End. This part of town offers excellent theaters, historical sites, and eating and shopping options for every taste. Lodging won’t be cheap, but you’ll have the colorful variety of London life right at your doorstep. Look at Notting Hill or Chelsea for charming and less expensive boutique hotels and B&Bs.
