  • My mom took me to this shop as she had visited it previously on a chocolate tour. The actual chocolate was delicious and the girls in the shop were all really lovely and helpful. We came away with som...  read more »
  • Royal chocolate and chocolate and the famous cute little package. Buy in the shop because it is sold in major department stores and some supermarkets bother to buy in the shops here are readily available, but the benefits are given. And just a little of your favorite chocolate you can buy (either 1 or 2) and able to go to the store and several types of chocolate tasting, individually boxed chocolate Ribbon or put in a separate bag, good service. You can choose freely from among many different types of Ribbon color. And chocolate on sale I probably have all kinds of chocolate is what will try to buy at the store so I can not go to this neighborhood in plan to buy.

  • By Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen Chocolate Manufacturers. You can find this place in the Royal Arcade near Piccadilly Circus. You pay by the weight of your purchase here.
  • Staff not alway welcome you as you enter the store but I had a nice mixed lady serving me and I will definitely come back to her to buy more products.
  • purveyor of fine handmade British chocolate since 1875, producing chocolate according to traditional recipes. This shop is located in the Royal Arcade in Bond Street. The shop has a collection of Royal photographs all over its walls. Quite entertaining to see the Royal Family back in the day. We sample their best sellers Rose and Violet creams and the luxurious Pink Marc de Champagne truffles. Amazing array of chocolate goodies. Recommended.
  • This chocolate is better than.... well, better than... it's amazing. Try the pink marc d' champagne truffles. Excellent birthday or romantic gift. Keep going back for more. Now to find a slimming website...
  • The store is actually on old Bond street in the Royal Arcade and closest tube is Green Park. I went to one of Charbonnel et Walkers events held in conjuction with Appletons Rum. WOW is my first impression the store looks just like an old fashioned sweetshop filled with delectible goodies. Mounds of chocolates on display and boxed in stunning boxes. The night started off with Appleton cocktails, the Jamaican mule or the Old fashioned at 6.30pm. The tastings started at 7pm after an interesting talk from the manager of the store telling us the history of the company, i would just like to say that the employees of the store were very imformative and helpful but they really do love and belive in the company (a rare find). You couldnt help but be drawn into the chocolate world. We were then introduced to Appletons management who gave us a brief history again i felt myself thinking Jamaican beaches whilst sipping on my cocktail. We were introduced to 3 chocolates to accompany the 12 year old Appleton Estate Rum Cecily - a dark chocolate ganache which went perfectly in my opinion with the rum. Milk praline noisette - a mix of chopped hazelnuts and chocolate, the nutty taste with the smooth rum left a nice imprint on the tongue Orange sticks - crystalised Seville orange peel in dark chocolate - this gave me ideas of a good cocktail mix We then sampled a coconut rum called Koko Kanu (forget the usual white bottle imposter) - this is the real deal a genuine coconut rum. This was served with a vanilla truffle - a smooth chocolate blended with madagascan vanilla. Very sweet but very nice We then tried a banoffee truffle - fresh banana pulp and caramel blendwith chocolate inside a milk chocolate shell. The rum really brought out the slight salty taste of the caramel. finally we had a a coconut truffle the texture of the coconut with the rum was unusual. Finally we sampled Charbonnel's latest creation a sea salt caramel - wow if like me you bite a chocolate first watch out for the liquid centre. This was my first taste of a salted caramel so has probably ruined me for other brands now. I could quite happily sample and shop but would have to do this on payday or a treat. I really hope to be back for a future event but can safely say the combined evening was an extreme success. They regularly have events in conjuction with another company and tickets cost areoun £25 but you do go hope with a box of chocolates aswell as sampling instore and a discount on any purchases,
  • Charbonnel et Walker has been selling fine English chocolates on Bond Street since 1875, when Mrs Walker and Mme. Charbonnel took inspiration, and a fair few recipes, from Le Maison Boissier in Paris. With more than one hundred years of experience, Charbonnel et Walker does what it does very well: its chocolates are sweet, delicate and thoroughly excellent, but if you want your chocolate made with ninety-five per cent, single estate cacao or filled with goat's cheese and cracked black pepper, you should probably go elsewhere. Still, of all the delightful things about Charbonnel et Walker, the most delightful of all is that one of the universally lovely members of staff lets her little girl help in the shop at weekends. Even if the English chocolates at Fortnum and Mason are more innovative or the Rose & Violet Creams at Prestat are more attractively presented, once you have been served Marc de Champagne Truffles by a beaming eight year old girl, it is hard to buy them any other way...
