  • I really love this center! There's indoor and outdoor bouldering, there's tons of routes to follow and much to explore. It is literally an old castle and even though it gets quite busy, it is so huge ...  more »

  • It's a good place to climb, and if you like the bouldering. There is a lot of different space to practice that. About the routes, there is less space, and very often too much people, particularly to d...  more »

  • Castle is awesome! It has a few areas for bouldering and extensive rope climbing walls. There is a cute little shop you can get food at as well, and a cafe. The building is worth exploring; it used to be a power station but fell into disrepair until the 90s when some people converted it into a climbing centre. It is still expanding to this day. It's a hub for the community and everyone is very friendly.
  • The oldest, best, most unique climbing centre in London and perhaps the UK. It's in a castle. The selection of sport, lead, top rope and bouldering walls is super varied and constantly reset. Amazing cafe. Is often almost too busy in the evenings, especially bouldering but I believe they're opening some new bouldering areas this year (2018) which should alleviate that issue. For sport and lead, you can't beat it.
  • Probably the best climbing centre in London. Cafe is good with a mix of soups, vegan and very healthy options. Large range of teas. Loads of different bouldering areas. Only downside is most of the walls are quite short around 8-11m so it's loads of shorter climbing. It gets quite busy weeknights from 7-9 if you can avoid that time it's really nice
  • One of my favorite place in London. If you are already a climber or just thinking about giving it a go, head to the Castle. Their staff is really helpful and will give you good advice if you need it. Bouldering, top rope and lead climbing walls are all amazing. The coffee had amazing food (you might need to queue a bit) and the garden area is lovely in the summer.
  • Amazing rock climbing venue in an old castle! Plenty of bouldering problems and has auto belay device for lone top rope climbers. Lockers available with a £1 coin. A nice homey cafe on the upper floors for those who need a caffeine lift me up or energy boost.
