  • My son and daughter recently celebrated their birthday's so for two children aged 11 and 7 this looked like the sort of party they would enjoy. And in fact they very much enjoyed the session which was a mix of different games lasting one hour. However I would note the following for parents. Overall it represents fairly poor value for money given the cost. The onsite customer experience is really poor, apart from Toni who made a great effort with our group. The interior is filthy and has a very strong paint odour as the same rooms are used for paintball groups. The food and cake provided are of a reasonable quality. Overall the impression is of a business which cares very little about it's customer's level of satisfaction. But thanks to Tomi who did demonstrate a good level of interest.
  • Very disappointing. Way too expensive for what it is. Bought it for my girlfriend's birthday. Did the zombie experience, came in and the main guy looked so bored already to be here. We changed and had to pay £1 for lockers (which they keep at the end). Then the training starts: lots of talking and more talking. Already had the feeling that this will be the most of the "experience". We then learned to shoot targets (on guns we won't use after). We then got split into 2 teams and went 1 against 1 where as soon as 1 person is 'hit' it's over.. Then more talking.. we then learned shooting with paint ball guns. Had to shoot 5 targets paper which doesn't bring anything to the experience.. split into 2 teams again and had to shoot each other until we run out of ammo (30 rounds each nothing more!!). By then and after almost 2 hours we only saw 4 or 5 zombies (none who attacked us).. We were then all given guns to shoot zombies who are all covered in gear and mask (obviously not to get hurt) which just doesn't make any sense. It's very clear they all fall down after being hit a few times so we stop shooting (and saving them ammo). We also learned how to climb walls that a 10 years old could do.. Had to go through a "ventilation system" which is the only time you get close to zombies. Finally we were given "laser guns" which is supposed to "control" the zombies.. This was by far the most ridiculous thing of the experience. This obviously doesn't do anything at all to the zombies. The only thing the gun does is fake noise and most of us stopped shooting as only a 5 years old would believe it. And that was it, get to take a few pictures at the end with the zombies and that's it. Would definitely not recommend it. Way too expensive, too small and way too many people. We never got chased by zombies once and the whole thing looks cheap and not what you would expect for this price. Got scared twice I think.. for £115 each.. Never again
  • This should definitely be done outdoors, but I enjoyed the experience indoors. Paint Baling is painful! Great team here too, they made the day all that much better.
  • I took my 10 yr old for his bday with his friends. We all had a great day. Staff could of been better organised they seem under staffed. The catering for bdays was mediocre alot of the kids didn't eat it and it was poorly organised. I also Wish they would of stated clearly that the venue was wet and gravely. Wearing white trainers wasnt a good idea. Otherwise a good time was had and the tech they use for the games was really good. The kids get to play several differnt types of games. Free for All - team death match - level up - etc . GO IN OLD CLOTHES AND TRAINERS !!
  • Lots of fun, this place offers both quasar and paintball. They also host birthday parties and can provide food. The only downside about Bunker 51 is that it's kind of expensive for what it is, great fun though. And make sure you wear shoes and trousers you're not afraid to get dirty as the playing field is quite wet and damp.
