  • small, fun and well kept. Kids enjoyed. Park next to it was good too. There is no parking even though it says on website there is. We had to park in tesco (10 min walk away). Might be able to park nearby on Sundays.
  • Lovely informal animal park for toddlers and younger children with small cafe (tasty coffee) and adventure climbing frame and slides. NOT a petting zoo, look only, but you can buy food there for some of the animals. They have cows, pony, goats, llama, ducks hens. Super facility for local families and also now training in animal care is offered. Thank you Brookes Farm
  • Free entrance but you can donate. They charge for groups (over 10 people). They have guided visits too. Animals: Hens, ducks, geese, peacocks, two ponies, two cows, sheep, goats, alpacas, rabbits (a gigantic grey rabbit), guinea pigs. They usually have pigs, turkeys and donkeys but haven't seen them lately. There are picnic tables, a café, toilet facilities, places to sit and wait for the rain to go away. There's a park with playground right outside. Once we were lucky to come during feeding time and a lady was encouraging children to help feed the friendly goats and cows. Peacocks and chickens might be wandering around. Closed on Mondays.
  • Nice a little though a very little zoo for kids to see animals .. kids do enjoy .. staff is friendly.. provide sitting after a small walk... And have sitting at first front usually used at the end is a good place to have a sit and enjoy some food within .. Kids might not leave the area if there was not a nice park just out of that ..
  • For a free entry it's very good slightly hard to find as you have to enter SKELTON park and turn left. There's lamas, sheep, cows, chickens, goats, geese and ducks

Where to stay in London

Many of London's main attractions are spread out, so nearby public transportation is key. There is no downtown area as such in London, and some of the least expensive hotels have more convenient access to tourist sites than the costlier ones. For a quintessential London experience, consider staying in the West End. This part of town offers excellent theaters, historical sites, and eating and shopping options for every taste. Lodging won’t be cheap, but you’ll have the colorful variety of London life right at your doorstep. Look at Notting Hill or Chelsea for charming and less expensive boutique hotels and B&Bs.
