  • Really great evening bowling at Bloomsbury lanes. I had concerned after struggling to get through to them over the phone to pay our deposit (eventually did, but many phone calls). When we arrived they...  more »
  • What a class place that produces a top end pizzas like they do is anyone's guess. It's a waste really. It honesty deserves better than this dump of a bowling alley. Hopefully the surroundings don't pu...  more »

  • Nice place where to spend a night out. Has got 4 karaoke rooms, a pool and a few bowling lanes. The pizza is nice and the service at the bar too, they have been so nice helping us in everything we needed. Will definitely recommend. Got only four stars because the waiting time of the activities it was of at least 2 hours.
  • Booked the largest karaoke room for a group of friends and had an amazing time! Song selection was up to date and varied enough for everyone to find a song they liked. We enjoyed the cool window showing the inner workings of the bowling lanes, and there was even air con! Price also excellent for central London - thanks Bloomsbury Bowling for a great day out.
  • Had a good time here. Food was decent and staff friendly. Planning on coming back.
  • Horrible!!! One of my friend booked the Bowling session at 1am last Saturday (the place is open till 3am). On arrival they almost did not pass the entrance because apparently you need to come 20 minutes early (as per security person), why? booking is at 1am so you should be able to come for that time, especially when you book and pre-paid the bowling. I arrived 9 minutes after 1am, so of course I did not pass the entrance as the security told me that it is not possible (as mentioned before, bowling was paid and I was supposed to play), at no point from the moment of the booking or either mentioned on the website, it says that you have to come 20 min early or if you are late for 9 min you can't go in, even if you paid (which is insane). After that, I tried to contact my friends to let them know that I could not join them, while I was waiting outside, 10 minutes after me, 1 guy came and try to get in to join his friends, security guy told him the same, he can't go in, few minutes after the guy's friends came to try to convince the security guy to let him in, the security person went inside to ask his colleague if possible (don't know what exactly they spoke about), after his conversation, he came back to the gate and let the guy in (it was 1.25am), the worst is that the people gave cash to the security person (and it was not the entrance fee if you see what I mean!!!!). For me, for a bowling and entertainment place, it is unacceptable. My friends and I will for sure never go again and never recommend it. HORRIBLE!!!!
  • Usually on hold for > 40 minutes on average. Bowling alley and service is good but making a booking is a joke. Currently on hold for 45 minutes but have gotten used to this. Lines should be fixed otherwise you're going to get a lot of pissed off customers...!

Where to stay in London

Many of London's main attractions are spread out, so nearby public transportation is key. There is no downtown area as such in London, and some of the least expensive hotels have more convenient access to tourist sites than the costlier ones. For a quintessential London experience, consider staying in the West End. This part of town offers excellent theaters, historical sites, and eating and shopping options for every taste. Lodging won’t be cheap, but you’ll have the colorful variety of London life right at your doorstep. Look at Notting Hill or Chelsea for charming and less expensive boutique hotels and B&Bs.
