Where to stay in London

Many of London's main attractions are spread out, so nearby public transportation is key. There is no downtown area as such in London, and some of the least expensive hotels have more convenient access to tourist sites than the costlier ones. For a quintessential London experience, consider staying in the West End. This part of town offers excellent theaters, historical sites, and eating and shopping options for every taste. Lodging won’t be cheap, but you’ll have the colorful variety of London life right at your doorstep. Look at Notting Hill or Chelsea for charming and less expensive boutique hotels and B&Bs.

  • Nice, pretty park but could be better. Playgrounds were nice but didn't have enough variety. Love the sandpit and water play next to each other but really disappointed in the cafe. Ice creams are great but food choice and taste was poor. Toilets were ok, some had run out of toilet paper. Lots of parking nearby!
  • Beautiful park. Really enjoyed it so much. Esoecially the area with the pond... one can really relax there and enjoy a beautiful sunny day
  • Live near by. Great little park in london close to the thames. Lovely place to run, walk or cycle! Great as well for families.
  • A wonderful park with an enormous sand pit, fountains, adventure slides, climbing frames, and lovely walks by the river. Perfect for a summer holiday outing with kids
  • A beautiful, tranquil setting with a rose garden, moat garden, lake, urban beach, playground and skate park. Great place to take a stroll or visit nearby Fulham Palace.
