  • My visit was wonderful. A lovely day, in the sunshine. The animals were well-cared for by friendly staff and the pulled pork, sausages and waffles in the cafe afterwards were divine (pork from the far...  more »

  • There aren't many animals left here. Used to have large birds of prey and other interesting animals but not any more. Most exotic animal is an alpaca now. Paid £2.50 each to go on tractor ride around "the working farm" but could not see any evidence of any farm work going on. Drove past an empty polo field and horse exercise area and a few very spread out sheep and pigs and a rhea. It wasn't expensive but did not feel like good value for money. Too many empty cages or cages with repeat animals in ( lots of the same sort of sheep and chickens for example). This place used to be better but was disappointed this time around, hopefully it will get better again.
  • Great family day out. Cheap tickets - can be bought online or onsite. Kids enjoyed feeding the chickens, the birds, and farm animals like sheep, goats etc. Is in north West-London (Mill Hill) so its easy to reach by public or personal transport
  • I love this place and I am a grown up! I come here on my own as it is so good. Fabulous animals which are really healthy and well looked after. Run by great volunteers. Nice cafe too.
  • Very rude staff, Expensive for a standard farm experience. Our daughter wanted to go to a farm to see ponies and horses. There were only two ponies and a group of kids were brushing and petting them. Our 3 year old daughter wanted to join the kids and she was told that she could not pet the animal if she wasn't a member of the private party. The cafeteria people, the receptionist, no one in the farm bother to say "thank you". We asked in the cafeteria whether it is self-service, we are told that they will bring the food to the table, but then they did not bring forks, knives napkins, etc. when asked for it they say "we said we will bring the food- the other right there". Overall everybody was rude. Doesn't worth the 20 pounds!
  • Value for money. Very friendly staff. Kids really enjoyed it.

Where to stay in London

Many of London's main attractions are spread out, so nearby public transportation is key. There is no downtown area as such in London, and some of the least expensive hotels have more convenient access to tourist sites than the costlier ones. For a quintessential London experience, consider staying in the West End. This part of town offers excellent theaters, historical sites, and eating and shopping options for every taste. Lodging won’t be cheap, but you’ll have the colorful variety of London life right at your doorstep. Look at Notting Hill or Chelsea for charming and less expensive boutique hotels and B&Bs.
