The first time we went Belmont farm it was great we saw kids being fed, we say doen in the petting area and petted animals. We saw and petted a horse. Staff were friendly and knowledgable. Not sure what was going on today it was being run by a bunch of kids. They told us no kid feeding but we could pet one. Then another quite offhand girl said no. They seemed surprised we wanted to get on a 2 pm tractor ride that was advertised but they hadn't organised in time. Petting area was shut but we were told we could pet a rabbit if we sat in the straw outside and loads of animals were missing. A bit disappointing really
Nice little farm with cows goat chicken ect nice little caffee too however you cannot spend a day overthere its very small may be 30min and you are out..can do with some more animals and may be a playground for kids after all it is a children farm.
This children's farm is one of the best we have been to. The farm is very well laid out, the staff are warm, approachable and informative and their are plenty of different animals for the children to see and meet. The highlight was the soft bunnies in the hands on petting area.
Very nice local farm. On the small side so you can walk round it quite quickly although I think this is reflected in the low admission fee. Really nice cafe on-site doing good food. Worth coming just for the cafe.
Fabulous local city farm experience. Baby animals, friendly staff, waffles, what more do you want?!
