Battersea Park Children's Zoo, London
(3.5/5 based on 150 reviews on the web)
Battersea Park Children’s Zoo can be found by the picturesque riverside walk in leafy Battersea Park. It is an exciting animal experience that combines a zoo, animal encounters, large well equipped play area, gift shop and café.

Amongst the animals you can see are cheeky monkeys, noisy otters, leaping lemurs, nosey meerkats and farmyard favourites.

At the weekend and during the school holidays visitors can watch the animals eat at set feeding times; a chance to see the otters dive for their fish or the meerkats come running, tails in the air, for their favourite treat.

Visitors can also take part by helping the friendly animal keepers to feed the farm animals.

The perfect venue for a family outing.

  • It is always with pleasure we will in this zoo - my little son is now 7 years old and he enjoyed taking his little brother. Weather - in the morning we have trainers who are feeding the animals - they were all out a feast for the eyes. Small break crust on place then afternoon games inside this park. It is so peaceful and we can look at our little fun hassle return in a stroller was quiet then bus to return to the apartment

  • I really enjoyed the sandpit with my little one, it's not a humongous place, but for children it does the trick.. has play areas for them not just the animals. It also has a good range to keep them entertained! Liked it!
  • Great place to bring the small children. These days i prefer a petting zoo where there is more interaction between you and the animals.
  • Great place for our 1 year olds. Zoo is just the right size to keep them interested without getting bored. Has a nice sandpit play area and cafe. Afterwards can take a walk in the park. Overall get for a central London location.
  • For the smaller members of the family a great place. Smaller animals in one end and a very nice playground in the other.
  • If you have small children this is good. Not bad value. Animals are pretty average but play areas are very good. Bring a picnic and your kids will spend an afternoon happily.
