  • I think some of the maximum stakes are quite low, compared to the other London casinos, but anyway the poker room seems to get quite busy so good for big games if that’s your thing. My reason for the 1star is the amount of times what must be the ‘drinks police’ come over and ban people from alcohol just because they cheer when they win. I felt really sorry for a guy who got told by this woman that he needed to be banned from drinking after cheering a £25 win on a perfect pair!! Honestly I couldn’t believe it...appreciate that responsible gambling and drinking needs to be considered but it is supposed to be a happy place... there needs to be proper consideration and training to those with these positions to gauge what is drunk behaviour compared to someone who has had a couple to relax and unwind..
  • Misleading promotions, but what could you expect from a Casino? They had an honest reputation from what I heard, so I thought I'd give it a try when they emailed me about £15 free credit. Soon made that into £100 and thought enough is enough, I want to withdraw, but then they said you have to deposit real money before you can withdraw. Hesitantly deposited £20, played a few more cheap games, and then find out that I need to win £450 before I am allowed to withdraw any real cash. What a joke. Obvious to say I didn't make it to £450. Regret depositing and wasting time playing.
  • Whether its coincidental or not but had the same experience as the review below just last week. For no reason at all I was approached by the 'welfare officer' and was told not to just refrain from having another drink but leave the premises immediately. In no other London casino have I been treated like this. I wasnt doing any harm, simply walking (not staggering) past one table to another, but she had already decided that she wanted to accost me off the premises beforehand. Everyone has a drink and enjoys themselves in a casino, it just seems like Aspers want to be the kill joys of London entertainment
  • Played the Monday afternoon poker tournament (18th Sept 2017) with my brother. I busted but he made the final table. Before play commenced in the final he asked the dealer whether there was time for him to use the bathroom and was told yes. When he returned he found that they had started play without him - despite other players objecting on his behalf. He was very low-chipped and on the Big-Blind so lost a quarter of his stack for nothing as his cards were mucked in his absence. Ok he might have lost that hand anyway but alternatively he might have won and gone on to place in the money...we will never know. He busted soon afterwards and walked away with nothing except a feeling that he'd been cheated. On the plus side I won a digital camera on a free spin of the Big-Wheel so that went some way to rescuing the afternoon!
  • More of an arcade than a casino. Tho you need membership to enter. It's ok for a little flutter. Don't get yourself in trouble and gamble more than you can afford.

Where to stay in London

Many of London's main attractions are spread out, so nearby public transportation is key. There is no downtown area as such in London, and some of the least expensive hotels have more convenient access to tourist sites than the costlier ones. For a quintessential London experience, consider staying in the West End. This part of town offers excellent theaters, historical sites, and eating and shopping options for every taste. Lodging won’t be cheap, but you’ll have the colorful variety of London life right at your doorstep. Look at Notting Hill or Chelsea for charming and less expensive boutique hotels and B&Bs.
