Where to stay in London

Many of London's main attractions are spread out, so nearby public transportation is key. There is no downtown area as such in London, and some of the least expensive hotels have more convenient access to tourist sites than the costlier ones. For a quintessential London experience, consider staying in the West End. This part of town offers excellent theaters, historical sites, and eating and shopping options for every taste. Lodging won’t be cheap, but you’ll have the colorful variety of London life right at your doorstep. Look at Notting Hill or Chelsea for charming and less expensive boutique hotels and B&Bs.

  • My first attempt at paddle boarding on the Thames. Excellent instruction from Anu and the team at Active360. Really lovely way to spend a Sunday morning. Looking forward to more paddling in the summer.
  • Absolutely fantastic group of guys at Active 360. They took us out paddleboarding for the first time and we had the best time. Dan and his colleague were very patient and great fun!
  • Absolutely brilliant. Add an amazing time, instructors are super relax, knowledgeable and easy to get along with. Highly recommend it to anyone
  • Loved it so much at Paddington, that i decided to do the Kew -Richmond trip the next day.
  • Great for beginners as well as experienced paddlers who just want to enjoy great company on water :) Active 360 has a few locations across London and run classes almost everyday - plenty to choose from! I've been to Kew Bridge and Little Venice in Paddington so far and enjoyed both places and sessions. They have a great team of instructors that will guide all first timers and support you on your further sessions. I'd recommend everyone to try at least once! Great for a friends day out as well as couples and families who want to spend time a bit more active.
