  • My husband and I spent a good couple of hours here...we both really enjoyed it. I didn't really know anything about the museum before our visit. The museum itself was really well stocked and informative. The cottage was idyllic and an added bonus as I didn't expect it! Lloyd George's grave was impressive .. the setting very peaceful and the stone that was laid on his grave.. childhood memories of when him and his brother played at the river and when they got tired would sit and rest on the stone was very emotional..
  • An amazing museum, documenting an incredible manThis is is a very thorough portrayal of his life and the time he lived. We came away as fans..This museum is an important asset to the region.
  • A small museum worth every penny of the entrance fee. Lots of information on the life of Lloyd George with a short film at the end of the visit to the main museum. Afterwards you take a short walk to the small cottage Highgate where he spent most of his boyhood. Then you can make a further walk to his burial place by the Dwyfor River. It"s a gem
  • Lovely informative museum staff very helpful
  • Just visited the David Lloyd George Museum. We have passed it many times but today called in. My wife and I received a warm welcome and we were immediately impressed with the layout of the museum. The life and achievements of Lloyd George are well displayed in an interesting and informative manner. His political achievements are extremely relevant in relation to the problems that we face today and a poignant reminder of the fierce battles that he fought in establishing the welfare state and much of what we take for granted today. Well done to all involved with this excellent museum. - Thoroughly recommended.
