Llandudno Promenade, Llandudno

4.6
Scenic Walking Area · Tourist Spot
Take a stroll along the pedestrian-only, Victorian Llandudno Promenade. Separated from the adjacent street by a strip of garden, the walkway provides a peaceful way to appreciate Llandudno's shore. Amble past stately Victorian hotels and stop in the town's swimming pool for a dip. Head to the bandstand where local bands--many of which are of the brass variety--perform. Check the schedule at the Venue Cymru, a theater located next to the town pool that hosts plays, shows, and musical performances. Finding parking near the walkway during summer can be challenging. • Weather was fantastic. Llandudno is a great place to visit. We usually buy chips and eat them on the Promenade. Then we take a walk along the promenade from one end to the other
  • Pleasant walk along prom, loads of seagulls, very noisy... Also lovely to walk along the pier lots of gift shops and cafe. Shops and cafe behind hotels on front... In fact never boring and good day out or weekend breaks too.
  • Beautiful place to go. great if you have someone in a wheelchair they can see the views and the path is very wide.
  • Nice, scenic promenade. Mostly Stony beach so can be difficult to walk on. No shops or attractions other than the pier, unless you head into the town.
  • Beautiful promenade and well maintained, clean and full of interesting local memorials, information and history. Well worth the visit.
