Llandudno Pier, Llandudno

Must see · Pier / Boardwalk · Tourist Spot
A site where the most fashionable Victorians once promenaded to the accompaniment of Jules Rivière's orchestra, Llandudno Pier is still frequently used as a set for period pieces. The pier has two entrances, the North Parade and the original entrance off Happy Valley Road. These entrances are split by the Grand Hotel, which looks out over the water and the pier. A stroll down the pier will reward you with views and a look at the exquisitely crafted ironwork balustrade. Stalls with shops and snacks line the pier, and occasionally a historic ship docks at the end. For travelers who use our custom trip planner, Llandudno holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Llandudno Pier and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • Apart from the Covid-19 bottleneck it's bloody splendid.
  • Love the pier but very disappointed there trying to charge 50p to use a public loo 🙄
  • 9/9/2020 We went for a slow walk at start of pier, bargains in jumpers & coats & different items funny postcards, then taking the sea air in & views towards the end of pier, were on the left side in the Bar, Brother had a half of Carlsberg beer & I had a lemonade & wife had a J2o from the Bar, but had to give my phone no. & email address. The right hand side of the pier, theres a cafe to eat or some home made cakes & ground coffees & chat inside or outside with out masks. Most times there are people or kids fishing at end of the pier, May 2019
