Llandudno Pier, Llandudno

Categories: Piers & Boardwalks, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
4.2/5 based on 2,800+ reviews on the web
A site where the most fashionable Victorians once promenaded to the accompaniment of Jules Rivière's orchestra, Llandudno Pier is still frequently used as a set for period pieces. The pier has two entrances, the North Parade and the original entrance off Happy Valley Road. These entrances are split by the Grand Hotel, which looks out over the water and the pier. A stroll down the pier will reward you with views and a look at the exquisitely crafted ironwork balustrade. Stalls with shops and snacks line the pier, and occasionally a historic ship docks at the end. • This is how all piers should be clean interesting a blast from the past although weather was bad it did not matter a dog friendly pub at the end of pier to enjoy.
  • Scenic, nostalgic, a little wistfully. Here you can see more clearly that everything was even better, especially magnificent. Almost a symbol, now, where Britain through the Brexit granted his chance to be 'Great'. The very necessary investments for repairs on this pier will not come anyway, (unfortunately)...

  • Lovely walk down the pier, clear the head after an evening of food and wine. Plenty to do on the pier
  • nice example of a victorian pier.. a little pricey for some of the rides if you have multiple kids but worth a visit.. we stayed in Anglesey and made a visit here on one of our days
  • Old world in modern times. Fantastic views towards the Great Orm and Snowdonia. Good place to see various species of Jellyfish.
  • Such a timeless place, it's beautify picturesque, just love coming here
  • Nice pier with beautiful views. When I went there was no charge to walk out which is great. There is a fisherman only section at the end of the pier, but there is a small fee to use it. There were trinket shops along the pier if you're into that stuff... FYI, they can't serve alcohol at the bar until after 12pm on Sunday... ;)
  • Ever since I was a kid I've always loved walking down the pier. Enjoyable views.
