  • There was only a shell to be seen today, however the landscape which surrounded it is not to be passed over.  more »
  • Stunning views of the surrouding countryside, well worth the climb, free parking, information boards very helpful.  more »
  • Steep climb but well worth it. Especially at sunset. You can take dogs but there are often sheep grazing. Great spot for a picnic.  more »

  • Beautiful sight. Good all year round. Cracking view at the top. Take the camera
  • Great place to come watch the sun rise. You can see Paxton Tower to your left looking towards Carmarthen and spot Dinefwr Castle ahead of you looking up towards Llandeilo.
  • Free car park at the foot with picnic tables. It's quite a climb up to the castle ruins, but worth it for the wonderful views of the countryside and the ox bow river. It has a very mystical quality and I am drawn to return time and time again. There are some great pubs near by and Paxton's Tower, also worth a visit.
  • A superb location, unfortunately the castle is in a poor state, but with imagination, it fantasic.
  • Worth a visit, great views.
