In 2005, a new central entrance hall and a six-story atrium were added to World Museum. After you pass through this grand atrium, you'll find galleries filled with archaeological, ethnological, and scientific artifacts. Inside, the World Cultures gallery allows you to explore the world without leaving Liverpool. If strange creatures are your passion, then check out the Bug House. Admission to the attraction, and the in-house planetarium, is free. Inspirock's itinerary builder makes planning a Liverpool trip simple and quick.

A must visit place if you're in Liverpool. The Egyptian historical part is very unique. They have remains of mummies displayed there. Staffs are friendly, especially the one who's in the natural history is so sweet. He'll explain you everything and make sure that you feel comfortable.

Been a while since I visited a museum. Took my two young children here and must say I was impressed! Everything was covered from dinosaurs to ancient Greece. The assistant who was helping in the Samoan and Ancient Greece/Sparta section was brilliant

Go here all the time my kids love it. As there is so much to see each time you go you learn new things. Lucky to have a place like this.

We had an absolutely great time with my two young children 6 and 3 yrs old! Highly recommend this, everything was amazing and a lot of things to see. We enjoyed the dinosaur and the Egyptian sections the most as well as the discovery sections. Have to explore all and across the other sides as well to appreciate the vastness of the collections. Fabulous, only criticism is the lighting on some of the displays off or too dull difficult to see, and the shows in the planetarium were not running due to technical issues, just the one we did watch for the smaller kids didn't seem worth the £5.50 we paid for it. all else is free though.
-
A fabulous free museum with great displays. Quite a lot to see so could take more than one visit to have a good look at everything you may want to. Especially liked the bugs room with my children.
