This is the oldest surviving building in Liverpool. It is well worth a visit. There are unique shops in the courtyard also a restaurant. We had lunch there which was lovely.

A great building in its own right, this tells the story of education but is now a great arts venue. Different every time I go. Great in the summer, when there are sometimes live acts in the garden.

Lovely Wedding Venue - you might not think it but Bluecoats makes a lovely wedding venue. I've just finished photographing a wedding here and have one more in a few weeks. The upstairs bar and dining rooms are converted into a unique space. The bar are provides plenty of room for guests with lots of comfy leather sofas over looking the court yard. The dining area can comfortably sit 100+ guests which is converted into the dance floor later in the night. After 7pm the building is shut to the public and the guests have access to the impressive garden in the back. Lots of space, lots of seating and lit by fairy lights. Another big thank you to the staff who looked after me and my 2nd shooter by providing us with coffee and water.... it's small things like these that make a big difference to working at a venue. It's attention to details like this that mean, as a bride, you'll have brilliant day.
Art and comedy exhibition is amazing! thoroughly recommend and very beautiful grounds also a violin work shop nearby which left beautiful music pouring into the central garden! :)
Nice quiet place to eat and get away from the city crowed
