  • Not our usual "cup of tea" but good to be challenged by modern artists. Didn't know the Tracey Emin bed was there and stayed for the half hour talk by an informative member of staff who gave some real...  more »
  • Lovely cafe, great value for money, tasty food. The shop is more interesting than you'd expect with a good range of quirky gifts and the loos are excellent.
  • Great museum with most of it being free access to the public (all except the top floor). A fantastic and very different selection of works and displays to suit anyone's tastes.

  • Always has interesting exhibitions and it's free (excluding special exhibitions). It also has a very reasonably priced cafe and in a great location. You can easily spend all day here.
  • Good art museum went with uni course mates. Nice art work and right next to Liverpool docks. loved it!
  • Take the curators tour if you get the chance. It's nice to get a sense of context about the art you are looking at. Special exhibition for Liverpool biennial was thought provoking, tour group had a brief discussion on the merits of one of the pieces.
  • First time at Tate Liverpool for the Yves Klein exhibition. V helpful and knowledgeable curator. Will visit again with more time to spend there.
  • Great building and great art - sculptures & paintings. Lockers for storing bulky bags, coats etc. Well worth a visit even if your not an art buff. Also close to many cafés and restaurants.
