  • Went for a walk on a cold , windy day , it was raining too. However the park looked great, well cared for with lots of new trees being planted. It will look even nicer once the trees are fully grown. ...  more »
  • This park has been here for years when I was a youngster we they had boats that you could hire and row around the lake till they called your number and you had to head back to take it back And used to...  more »

  • I took 2 dogs for a walk in Newsham park yesterday. The autumn colours were wonderful and there was loads of space for running and chasing squirrels. Didnt catch any but had fun trying. There were so many squirrels, they were everywhere. We stayed away from the children's playground because of the children and the lake because of the wild fowl but there is so much space that everyone can have a good time without getting in anyone else's way. The weather was mild for October and we had a fantastic time.
  • This park has a designated all weather cricket area which is under used and free. Need your own stumps. There is a lake and a well used swing park with nearby parking. Not a safe place to walk through at night.
  • Nice park, but could be a great park. If the council invested More money. Instead of spending it all in sefton park. Needs footpaths resurfacing.
  • Beautiful. Cafe. Fishing lakes. Skate park. Play areas. Open fields. Woodlands.
  • A great park away from the centre and south of the city (where some of Liverpools finest parks are located) Newsham boast a long and regal history and its former splendour can be witnessed from the sheer size of some of the homes surrounding it (now mostly (sadly) run down flat. The judges accomodations are still here (where royalty visited). Along with the licked up former hospital / orphanage. Theres a little coffee & ice cream shop dab in the middle of the park. And although there is plenty of ground to cover for walkers, its all a nice even route. No steep hills.
