  • Came here to watch a movie. The prices are ridiculous and the bar staff are beyond rude. Looked down on us and was so condescending. Totally ruined the evening.  more »
  • We visited on Monday for an afternoon showing. Actually, we would never watch a film anywhere else, apart from the quirky film nights in the Liverpool philharmonic hall! Fact has three main film scree...  more »

  • Great venue and arts space. Interesting building and well worth a visit to see what's on. Makes a pleasant change from the usual cinema experience provided by the national chains. My only criticism would be the seating in "The Box". Looks great at first glance, with wide twin seats (almost couch-like). However after a few minutes they are really uncomfortable. Good seating is probably high up the list when designing a cinema interior. The addition of a pile of "help yourself" pillows is clearly an acknowledgement that the seating could be improved. Otherwise, staff are always courteous and helpful. Food and drinks prices are reasonable for this busy part of the city. Definitely worth a return visit.
  • Reclining seats are standard (unlike at some other cinemas where it’s a paid for extra). There is a nice café down stairs and a bar up stairs so you can meet for a drink and bite to eat with friends before a film. It also has art installation exhibition spaces (free entry) so get down early and have an explore before your film.
  • We're so lucky to have FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology) here in Liverpool. When we're not away on holidays or visiting family, it's a place we visit at least once a week for films in one of the four theatres, food in the excellent café and/or a drink from the bar. As Seniors and members, we take advantage of the discounts and Silver Screen showings of films. Last night we watched live the Royal Shakespeare Theatre's performance of Antony & Cleopatra. If you're visiting, or live in Merseyside, this is a place you should visit. Note: We avoid films shown in "The Box" as I, in particular, find the sofas very uncomfortable.
  • 5* simply for being an amazing independent cinema that contributes A LOT to the local community and helps aspiring artists of film. Very ethical establishment. Wide array of viewing rooms also.
  • I love small cinemas, the fact has a real indépendant vibe, expos, conferences, and very good selection of film. I love to go on mondays for the good prices. 7£ instead of 11£ i think so yes. Definitely a place to not miss. The only critic would be for me bigger seats, would have made it the perfect cinema or, even double seat, like mini sofa, that's all apart from that it's a Win
