Casbah Coffee Club, Liverpool

Categories: Historic Sites, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
4.7/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web
At first glance, Casbah Coffee Club appears to be an ordinary English house. It is, however, nothing of the kind. In fact, this heritage-listed building boasts the honor of being the first venue where the Quarrymen--later the Beatles--played. Tours of the club are often given by Roag (pronounced "Rory") Best, brother to Pete Best, the original drummer (before Ringo Starr joined the group). See Lennon, McCartney, and Harrison's original artwork on the walls and hear personal anecdotes relating to the Fab Four. Due to the small size of the venue, reservations are essential. Combine the visit with "The Beatles Fab Four Taxi Tour" for the complete Beatles experience. Make Casbah Coffee Club part of your personalized Liverpool itinerary using our Liverpool holiday planner.

  • I'm not impartial because they are nice. This site began where the beatles with their first bataeria Pet Best is living history when the beatles were not the beatles but an embryo. Rory Best who is the brother of the first drummer of the band, teaches with pride what was the true origin of the Beatles. This and the houses of John and paul are the most interesting of the city if one goes looking for Beatles.
