Anfield Stadium, Liverpool

Tourist Spot Arena / Stadium
It’s often said jokingly that to understand Liverpool you must first understand its music and its football (soccer). Well Anfield Stadium boasts an iconic, almost spiritual place that enables you to fully appreciate the latter. The stadium--which serves as the home of Liverpool Football Club--has been around since 1884, and it’s not an understatement to say that it has become one of city’s most famous buildings; to step into Anfield is to step into the metaphorical heart of half the city’s football fans. Few experiences in sport match the spectacle of the Liverpool faithful singing "You'll Never Walk Alone" (from the 1945 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical "Carousel") in unison to greet their team. If you can't score a ticket to catch this in person, a tour can still help you soak in the stadium's atmosphere. Put Anfield Stadium at the forefront of your travel plans using our Liverpool tour planner.

  • Great Stadium! Anfield is full of life and it is truly wonderful when you sing You'll Never Walk Alone with your fellow, proud Liverpool Football Club supporters. Each of the four stands give fantastic views of the pitch and to learn more I would recommend going to the Anfield tour. The only thing you need to bring to Anfield is your winning attitude (and maybe a coat!). I guarantee you will enjoy this amazing stadium! Let's give Liverpool a push up the table!
  • This is My annual Pilgrimage. Ok this time bi- annual as I was here 6 months ago. The upgrades make this a football heaven. I just cannot stop coming here. And my Beloved reds beat the Toffees again. Be back soon.
  • The tour of the ground was 1st class!! well worth it! great access for disabled. Getting so see the halo'd turf of Anfield was a long awaited treat.
  • excellent stadium tour and very proud to be a Liverpool supporter, made a real fuss of my son and he was chuffed to bit loved it and would recommend to any one , very informative and two very funny guides . excellent
  • best stadium around, much better and modernised with the new stand as well. A lot less cramped and a nice space to soak in the atmosphere, previously I'd hurry inside to my seat but now it's a lot more family-friendly and just nicer to relax before the game.
