  • What a lovely little farm this is! Very easy to find and good value for money - only a couple of quid per adult. Fairly small parking area at the front, however, there is an overflow car park near by ...  more »
  • My eldest daughter (3) loves coming here. Being allowed to get so close to the animals is really good, especially being allowed to feed the goats and chickens (you have to pay for the feed, but it's n...  more »
  • Excellent idea, a farm in an urban area, so local kids can learn about these things. Easy to find (sign posted) and enjoyable day out with plenty to see and do.

  • Small and quick to get round. If it's busy, book he petting zoo before it sells out and don't bother buying the food as the animals will all be full. You can manage an hour easy sometimes two and half if you stretch it out with a cafe visit and time on the play area. Not really for older kids unless you want to do some volunteer work :) wellies handy in places but you can manage easily without.
  • Nice and cheap to get in, great place for small children. Not too big to get around and has as decent little park too. Staff are all friendly. I would recommend it for families.
  • My wife and i took our two granddaughters aged 3 and 11 to this little farm. It was enlightening in this day and age to find a children's venue that does not rip you off. There was plenty of animals to see and feed. Bags of feed could be bought for 50p. We had a snack lunch which was well presented and at a good price. One thing my wife and i noticed was the valuable work being done by the many disabled people, all credit to them and Acorn Farm. The playground was a hit, keeping our granddaughters occupied for a couple of hours. Those critics who feel this venue is not what they expected, would do well to realise that this is a working farm and not an expensive zoo. We will certainly recommend Acorn Farm to our Friends and Family. Bryan and Val.
  • A lovely friendly little farm x the kids and adults loved it. Looking forward to going away x
  • Lovely place for kids and the food is very good at very reasonable price. All the staff are friendly and so are most of the animals
