  • Well, reading the review by Evilraccoon, she seems the sort of person who would complain about church bells ringing if she moved to a country village. As for the smell, doesn't she know the difference...  read more »

  • This is a rescue centre for unwanted or abused animals. Very special place for people to visit as they rely fully on people attending. Well worth a visit
  • Fantastic little sanctuary with a real family feel.
  • I do not understand the negative reviews! Today we took our 2 year old grandson and he had a fabulous time. It took us 2 1/2 hours (including forest walk) to see everything. We were advised not to just walk around entry complex on arrival by the staff. The conditions the animals are kept in looked superb. You would never get the interaction (feeding) our little 2 year old had in a zoo visit. We have almost 50 fabulous photo's of him feeding by hand everything from peacocks to deer and goats. I would rate this sanctuary 10 out 10 for value for money.
  • A bit less 'professional' than the leaflet suggests, but okay to spend a couple of hours and the children liked the animals
  • Brilliant day out. Having done the rounds and walked through the woods, we went and bought some feed for the animals from the shop and did it all over again. I think we were the last to leave that day!! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area, younger children will love the interaction you can have with some of the animals. I'm moving to Cornwall next year and will definitely be investigating purchasing an annual pass for my wife and me.
