  • Kids really enjoyed the Gruffallo trail led my a member of staff. Had fun doing crafts after the trail. Park was well maintained and staff were helpful
  • Love walking my dogs here. Lovely.
  • Nice walk for families with young kids with the addition of the Gruffalo Trail. Also good for dogs to enjoy, however not all owners keep them on a lead or pick up their dog mess knowing there are children around. Small car park can quickly fill up at weekends but you can park in nearby residential streets.
  • Lovely park, well looked after and the displays in the park are fun and well done. Cafe a bit tired and parking can be a challenge
  • TERRIBLE Colin glen forest park is very dated and vandalised. There was no visible bins/dog bins throughout the walk (there was one bin tied onto a gate at the end of the car park) and with no suitable sitting areas (mostly vandalised or had puddles of water on them). For kids there is a gruffalo walk so there was foam figures from the book around the forest but some figures where destroyed or had parts missing of them (kinda scary looking) there was also paper nailed onto some trees with random letters on it for the gruffalo walk but there was no information about what they where for. I would not consider coming back here.
