  • Love going here for the gruffalo trail a lot of walking and feel it could be updated so you could follow story as you go (boards with story on perhaps?) good spot for a walk!
  • It would be a mistake to expect anything too "foresty" from Colin Glen Forest Park, but if your children like the Gruffalo and can walk a fair distance, it's a great outing (about a 40 minute walk to ...  read more »
  • Great day out at Colin Glen Forest Park. 11 year old loved the SKYTrek activities which were well organised. James was an excellent, professional assistant to guide us through the activities. Lovely f...  read more »
  • TERRIBLE Colin glen forest park is very dated and vandalised. There was no visible bins/dog bins throughout the walk (there was one bin tied onto a gate at the end of the car park) and with no suitable sitting areas (mostly vandalised or had puddles of water on them). For kids there is a gruffalo walk so there was foam figures from the book around the forest but some figures where destroyed or had parts missing of them (kinda scary looking) there was also paper nailed onto some trees with random letters on it for the gruffalo walk but there was no information about what they where for. I would not consider coming back here.
  • Lovely walk and now they have the gruffalo trail the kids love that. Just adds something to the walk.
  • Nice walk for families with young kids with the addition of the Gruffalo Trail. Also good for dogs to enjoy, however not all owners keep them on a lead or pick up their dog mess knowing there are children around. Small car park can quickly fill up at weekends but you can park in nearby residential streets.
  • Follow the gruffulo trail and find all the characters. Shop cafe and other facilities available. Didn't try the cafe but looked ok.
  • Great Park. Gruffalo trail, lethal park run and a good walk for the dogs
