  • Interesting walk around a working mill. Lots of information about the Mills restoration upto present day. Easy access for all ages. Reasonably priced entry.
  • Lovely day, very informative and staff were friendly and helpful. Bought some gluten free flour and bits and pieces for baking for the mcmillan coffee morning tomorrow. Wonderful and fascinating histo...  more »
  • We didn't visit the Mill, we just went to the shop to stock up on flour. The staff seemed completely inattentive. One staff member was busy filling shelves. When she had finished, she walked straight ...  more »

  • after reading the negative reviews on TripAdvisor we had decided to just go and buy some flour but changed our minds at the last minute and we are so glad we did. Yes its true is isn't like a tour as we know it but then if you can see and read it doesn't need to be it's self explanatory from the information sheet you are handed on arrival. It leaves the staff free to get on with their work and the added advantage also is you can take your time to wander around, watch the film and read about the extensive renovations the mill has gone through without feeling hurried. We were fortunate to go on a day when the mill was working and so could see from beginning to end product. We found the staff friendly and helpful......but busy. We take our hats off to all those who worked so hard to bring this mill back to life. An excellent visit well worth the £4 entrance fee. Great flour too.
  • Fantastic working watermill and excellent tour full of some very interesting facts about flour making, a great place and well worth subsequent revisits.
