  • Fab gardens and maze with best centre point ever (checkout the waterfall! ) Great family day out, plenty to explore. The gardens and water feature are a big wow! Sharon does a great job on the guided tour, holding everyone's interest including a 5 year old!
  • I attended a meeting at this event and the venue is stunning! We were looked after exceptionally well by the staff and owners and the castle and grounds were lovely. As a wedding photographer as well I could see it would be perfect as a venue - in fact I want to get married there myself now!
  • Disappointed by their anti-dog attitude. Luckily it wasn't a sunny or hot day so our dog could be left in the car, but assuming that dog owners are so irresponsible that they can't be trusted in gardens and river walks is a bit insulting. We would never leave our dog behind when out for a day in gardens and parkland (she behaves better than most children), so won't visit again, even though it's quite an interesting place.
  • Arrived at your premises to park in your disabled parking but the parking was so muddy there was no chance that the wheelchair would have gone over the surface. It unacceptable that your parking does not have a tarred surface. Therefore we could visit the castle for a day out. After travelling 30 miles to get there.
  • Excellent gardens and tea room. The walled garden on its own merits several visits throughout the year. House interior is a little disappointing, but overall it's well worth a visit.
