Placed where the River Thames meets the sea, enjoy a visit to the quaint town of Old Leigh. Stroll along the narrow streets and look at the shipyards in the wharf. Let the little ones build a sand castle on the small beach. Grab some fresh seafood from one of the restaurants or drop into a pub for some fish and chips topped off with fresh ale. Park a bit outside of town if you find the small parking lot full. Add Old Leigh and other attractions to your Southend-on-Sea trip itinerary using our Southend-on-Sea itinerary builder.
