  • We arrived at the castle unaware that during the week there were only guided tours that lasted over 1 1/2 hours & we had to wait until 3.15pm. The biggest shock though was the fact that having paid fo...  read more »
  • Beautiful views of the castle as you drive closer to it, pull in to the car park looking forward to the day ahead. Walk up to the ticket office/tea room or shed as I would call it, hand over two lots ...  read more »
  • A fantastic day out. Castle and gardens amazing and view is stunning! (hence the name). Tearooms worth a visit, and toilets very good! Very interesting tour of the castle, the guide was very knowledge...  read more »
  • Enjoyed an amazing corporate event here at the big marquee at Belvoir Castle grounds. The tour of the castle was fantastic and our guide very entertaining and knowledgeable. Would recommend a visit when you can. Just to note that this is not a National Trust building so I think booking is Private.
  • My girlfriend and I went to eat at the nearby award winning pub 'The Chequers Inn' during late April and wanted to go through the Vale of Belvoir to see the rapeseed fields. We weren't disappointed as they were in full bloom! When the sun shines upon them, it's the most resplendent sight, almost blinding with the pale bright yellow bloom seemingly for miles in the distance . Although we didn't enter the castle , if you're around the area during mid April to mid May , it's well worth the visit and I'm sure there's an amazing view looking down from the castle itself!
  • Do you realise this establishment whip their poor hounds whilst out along Harlaxton canal. My wife and I witnessed this with our very own eyes this morning! Shame on this middle class barbaric sport. The poor dogs were screaming in pain! So think on the next time you condone the payments into this home, think about what your money is going towards!
  • Review towards web page - terrible. Such simple things like opening times and prices are well hidden and takes ages to find.
  • Simply stunning! Lovely rooms and informative guides. The gardens are awesome you can literally get lost in them so beautiful. The only downside was the ticket office so small it's ridiculous, it's a good thing it was free flow today instead of a guided tour as you would never have made it to the castle in time.
