  • If you have an mobility problems ask at the ticket office for a pass that will entitle you to drive up to the castle and avoid a long climb. Once there, there are no mobility problems except perhaps f...  more »

  • Fabulous views, very interesting Castle, well preserved. Lovely formal gardens, extensive hillside and forest walks. Too bad it is only open to the public for about a month each year. Some special occasions also open it. Family still lives there, so perhaps they like some privacy the rest of the year
  • Enjoyed an amazing corporate event here at the big marquee at Belvoir Castle grounds. The tour of the castle was fantastic and our guide very entertaining and knowledgeable. Would recommend a visit when you can. Just to note that this is not a National Trust building so I think booking is Private.
  • Very rude towards younger visitors (I found from experience , I'm 20). Was really looking forward to it and was left disappointed . The staff at the castle were unbelievably rude. The gardens are nice to walk around , and the front desk chap was lovely . But unfortnotly I can't see my self re visiting as felt awfull after the customer service I recieved . :(
  • My girlfriend and I went to eat at the nearby award winning pub 'The Chequers Inn' during late April and wanted to go through the Vale of Belvoir to see the rapeseed fields. We weren't disappointed as they were in full bloom! When the sun shines upon them, it's the most resplendent sight, almost blinding with the pale bright yellow bloom seemingly for miles in the distance . Although we didn't enter the castle , if you're around the area during mid April to mid May , it's well worth the visit and I'm sure there's an amazing view looking down from the castle itself!
  • Nice to visit, the gardens are impressive ass well. The gardens should be visited in the late spring, when you can see a lot of flowers
