  • Really interesting local history, lots to look at. The nature trail / outdoor area is overgrown, so not great for little kids and the indoor bit seems a bit confused - there is a mix of Victoria and 1940s rooms. Would recommend for a day trip to anyone living in the area, but wouldn't be my first choice for tourists.
  • Wow,what a fantastic place to visit,me and my wife Elaine had such a great relaxin time there,,can't whate to go back in time again,we would live there, the staff are so helpful,,good luck for the future, from Steve and Elaine, from pontefract,,South Elmsall,,
  • Nice place with good surroundings for a walk. Nice family place and great views by the canal.
  • Such an interesting afternoon out. Lovely with a walk along the canal. Not a huge place though
  • One of only a few watermills still with all its equipment and machinery fully intact. Visit during the weekends or on school holidays to see the wheels and coggs turning and working the equipment. Set on an island in the outskirts of Leeds which has lovely nature and boats moored up at the canal side.
