  • Great estate for walks and playing, a historic house to look around and find out about the history of the place and of course home farm of which you can see all the animals. Again quite often they have events on so check your calendar as there may be even more to do depending on the day. Totally great day out.
  • Beautiful rooms in the house, the free audio guide is brilliant and will add to your visit, the grounds and formal gardens are lovely. Didn't visit the rare breeds farm. The teashop was closed for refurbishment but alternatives were available. Good value for money.
  • Amazing parkland, duck ponds, interesting stately home and the best part: a farm. Multiple play areas for children and lots of space to run around. Plenty of parking too.
  • A beautiful place to come for a walk and chill in the grounds dog friendly. Bring the kid there is a big petting farm and a play ground for the kids . Talk a walk round the beautiful old house
  • It's a great day out simply visiting the house and taking a tour with the knowledgeable guides, but having the farm as well is a real bonus.
