  • I was amazed by the size of this house. Leeds council have done a fantastic job on the house and grounds. I did pay to park by the house but the outer parking seems to be free but it isn't made clear....  more »

  • Fantastic place. Free parking. Got to pay into the house and farm . Grounds are free. Brilliant cafe on site just been refurbished.
  • We go here regularly. It's perfect for children and dogs. Good parking, a great playground, nice cafe and lots of beautiful walks.
  • Great estate for walks and playing, a historic house to look around and find out about the history of the place and of course home farm of which you can see all the animals. Again quite often they have events on so check your calendar as there may be even more to do depending on the day. Totally great day out.
  • Visited late at night for a bike ride. Spooky quiet but was nice to see security guards for reassurance. Very peaceful at 22:00 hours. Pictures of front of house included.
  • Beautiful rooms in the house, the free audio guide is brilliant and will add to your visit, the grounds and formal gardens are lovely. Didn't visit the rare breeds farm. The teashop was closed for refurbishment but alternatives were available. Good value for money.
