  • This place was fantastic. I would highly recommend going here. It was a great place for adults and children. There are plenty of weapons to see from many years gone by to modern
  • Second visit here and is loads better outside of the school holidays, a lot less busy. Came here to help the youngest with their knights school subject, so much to see and interact with. Worth a visit...  more »

  • What a place! Superb collection of guns, armour, swords and weaponry. Better than London! Get yourself down there. The castle invasion is particularly good.
  • Brilliant museum. It's a must see if you live anywhere around. It's completely free for everyone, has 4 floors with all the history Britain was involved in. While now and then it was well-made interactive machines/items. What impressed me tho is the live acting performance and the well-dressed people, acting and walking around the place through the visitors making it even more realistic.
  • Visited today with my husband and teenage daughter. Fascinating exhibition, friendly helpful staff and some very informative stalls in the lobby on medieval life weapons and armour. The Fletcher was fascinating on the art of making bows and arrows. Well signposted, easy parking and no entrance fee - would give it six stars if I could. Glad to see my old favourite the elephant is still there in his armour...
  • It's a really good place, The exhibits were very interesting and we also had a go at the archery which you have to pay for but is well worth it!
  • A great museum! So much interesting history could have spent a whole day here - I can't wait to come back!
