Explore the expansive estate and gardens of Lotherton Hall for a snapshot of aristocratic England. Inside the manor, wander each room of the house, and read about how life during the 1800s would have been for a wealthy family and its servants. Play croquet in the estate gardens and visit the bird sanctuary's extensive range of endangered species. While you enjoy a picnic, watch the red deer and llamas of the estate play in the meadows. Went up to go for a run, which was originally a 5 mile push chair walk. Really great countryside, trails and fields. The hall itself is great for kids, picnics and an ice cream
Great cafe serving what looked like home baked or locally sourced cakes and tray bakes. We had the scone and millionaires shortbread, both were very good.
Good value with parking, house, and bird garden all included in reasonable admission price. Plenty to do here with the bird garden, house, gardens, play areas and walks, all for less than 20 quid for ... read more »
Everytime we come it is a new adventure. Very reasonable price especially with the annual pass. We can come for quick visits to the park or a spend a day exploring the sights.
We went for food festival. Great day with nice walks and grounds. Lovely historic building. Deers are around the grounds too. £6 parking gets you in. Not sure if you're walking though.
Was going to visit until saw the price! It was always free if you didn't go in the house. Won't bother now so they won't even get my custom in the cafe!
Well worth the price of a family season pass if you live locally. Good play areas for the kids & nice woodland walk.
Having been to Lotherton Hall many times in the past, we were thoroughly disappointed yesterday. Yes it has been a few years since our last visit, but a price hike of nearly £10 to walk our dog round the fields is extortionate. We arrived at 3:00pm and we were told the cost was £5.50 per person or, if we wanted to wait until 3:15pm we could park for £2 but the carpark payment machine was broken so, if we wanted to wait in a side bay until the payment booth closed, we could park for free. Fair enough I thought, we parked where directed to wait. Not 2 minutes later, the young lad on the gate came over and said you can go park now. Whilst we enjoyed our walk, it was spoilt by finding our vehicle damaged when we returned to it. Now I know that this is not the responsibility or fault of Lotherton Hall, but, not even a note from the offending driver, is pretty poor and indicative of society today. Therefore, it will be a very long time, if ever, that we return.
