Leeds Corn Exchange, Leeds
(3.7/5 based on 380+ reviews on the web)
Go shopping in one of Britain’s finest Victorian buildings. Leeds Corn Exchange is one of just three corn exchanges left in the UK, operating in its traditional capacity as a center for trade (although no longer in corn). Visit the many independent shops, which sell clothes, jewelry, books, guitars, housewares, cameras, and more. Stop for a bite to eat in the Primos Restaurant or Vanilla One coffee shop. The exchange hosts special events throughout the year, such as live music and vintage fairs. Check the website to see if any of these coincide with your visit. Put Leeds Corn Exchange into our Leeds vacation route planner to see other points of interest to visit during your vacation in Leeds.

  • The corn exchange is a beautiful building and well worth popping into just to see the interior. It contains lots of small shops, cafes and market style stalls.
  • Nice trendy boutique hipster style shops. The barbers I goto is here too so very convenient as its next to a lot of cool restaurants and bars
  • We were looking for less mainstream shopping outlets - Tried the arcades but very disappointed but the Corn Exchange was excellent. Lots of different little shops & nice dining area.Neil & Jill Nov 20...  more »

  • Nice inside, it has a lot of independent and locally made stores. Free ping pong / table tennis some nights during the week. Nice.
  • Lots of indy shops on offer here. Must visit if you want to check out unique or usual shops. Cafes, homeware, electronics and fashion. They often have events or record fairs down stairs. Great place for weekend lunch.
  • Come here for King Koby mostly but always good to see if any local events are going on. Looks a little emptier than normal so hopefully more businesses will move in soon.
  • Really interesting building with a varied collection of shops you don't normally see in the high street
  • What a wonderful find. Classic architecture meets shopping arcade. If your passing pop in and take in its charm. If you have time, why not try a custom tea from Vanilla One. You will be pleasantly surprised.
