  • Visited a few months back and planning on going back soon with my sisters kids, I imagine they'll love it. such a great place. a real mixture of different pieces. Something for everyone!

A floor for the protection of species across the planet. and a floor dedicated to the development of the city especially in the Victorian era. /bien explained, exposing many unexpected objects. • Surprisingly nice museum. Well laid out exhibits, good exhibits. For me though, a building adds to the experience and a lot of the building was uninspiring and modern. Great for a small city though
  • We love this place! Open all throughout the year. Free entry & my boys (8 & 9yrs) never get tired of going. The favourite area is always Ancient Egypt, where you can see a real Mummy! The staff are always friendly and helpful. I wouldn't eat in the restaurant though as I find their prices too much. But with plenty of places to eat near by it makes for a great day out.
  • Very disappointing from the beginning. Few exhibits which is surprising considering the expanses of history this museum is attempting to cover. Poorly laid out and too little detail. Leeds has an incredible and rich history but it wasn't reflected in this exhibition. Perhaps it will grow and develop over time.
  • Great free museum. Cafe tasty but pricey
  • Fabulous free museum for adults and kids. Great for a school trip.
