  • This is great for children lots to do and see. The farm and bird garden is lots of fun. Good for the disabled a little van runs around so you do not have to walk up or down the hill. Good if you have small children also. A fun day out.
  • Plenty of space for my son to run around and engage in some outward bound-type activity. The Great British Food festival running during my visit added to great fun. The house itself is a beautiful reminder of the life of the affluent and the gardens are wonderful too, but the bird garden is exceptionally amazing.
  • There are nice grounds to walk around, would only take a few hours to completely cover them though. The animals included penguins, birds and farm animals. This is a great place for families, with play parks a priority. If you don't have kids I wouldn't recommend going, it's not in the same category as Castle Howard. Otherwise it's great! Food was ok, what you expect from a little cafe.
  • Pleasant and nice walk, wander round and play area for children. Cafe on site. Plenty of parking. A really nice playground for toddlers. A good walk for the family through the little farm area, bird garden and around the lake. It's a shame you can't walk all the way round the lake
  • A wonderful and worth visiting. Huge nice gardens also in the farm area all kind of birds from around the world. Possibility to go on the lake by boat, is not expensive and is worth having it, also the guys that are in charge of the boat are very pleasant and give insights about the house. It a must see thing though! Also Flamenco birds are an atraction!!
