Garden Nature / Park
Once a place for only the wealthy to appreciate, Leamington Spa's Jephson Gardens sits near the center of town and is a local favorite. Existing since 1834, this park extends for 5.9 hectares (14.6 acres), providing plenty of space for you to stroll among the flower displays. Take in the park's tranquility while relaxing in the Aviary Cafe, located in a restored tea pavilion. Feed the ducks on the lake or rent a boat and explore the neighboring River Leam. Be sure to see the "Glasshouse," a multi-temperature zone growing different plant species, and the stone sculptures within. Plan your visit to Jephson Gardens and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Leamington Spa trip itinerary planner.

  • Really beautiful landscaped gardens that is a fantastic place to spend a few hours on a warm, sunny day. There are lots of wide paths to walk along, a pond with a water feature, plenty of benches everywhere, nice flower beds, expanses of grass to sit on, a sensory garden, monuments, access to the river, the enclosed tropical garden (warning: very humid) and a cafeteria. Really one of the prettiest parts of a very attractive town.
  • Jephson Gardens is beautiful in the summer! Large gardens with plenty of different lawns and flowerbeds, plenty of shaded areas to sit and benches, very clean and well tended. Café and toilets are available and there is a very good glasshouse which is well worth a look. Must go to!
  • Beautifully kept gardens! Lots to look at, fountains, beautiful flowers, statues. The Sensory Garden is a massive hit with the children! Cross the blue bridge and there's a lovely playground too!
  • I love nature. It's the reason why I rated it with so high marks. It's lovely place with beautiful garden and amazing flowers. You definitely should walk around this place.
  • Love Jephson Gardens, beautiful planting with interesting things to see in every season. There is sculpture, a lake and fountains.Great for a walk, stop for a coffee and watch the world go by. Also recommend a stroll round the glasshouse.
