  • Place became a cotton mill from the 17th century in the notztingham suburb built in the early 18th century industrial revolution in the modern industrial manufacturing in mass production beginning here, and named Derwent Valley factories registered in the world heritage site. Founded in 1771 Cromford mill was able to mass produce products used here is called the world's first modern factory, spinning machine, this machine for the first time in uniform quality and description. Plant was built along the river. The power plant of the people inside the local volunteer offers information kindly.
