  • We almost drove past...glad we didn't! The Priory is rich in history and beautiful inside with magnificent stained glass windows. There's also a gift shop and very nice tea room.
  • Magnificent setting. The remains are haunting. Recommend also climbing the hill to where Hadrians Wall remains.
  • Interesting priory church ; the priory ruins are English Heritage maintained. Separate shop and tearooms.
  • Went on the windest day of the year, but this actually added to the experience walking around. Well worth a visit if you're nearby.
  • Interesting history. Good cafe
  • Belittled by snooty woman dispensing ice creams who remarked, 'we don't allow in dogs because it would not be very nice to have them sniffing the biscuits.' Not tactful, not diplomatic & it lost you the twenty pounds I subsequently spent in the adjoining chapel. Kenilworth Castle, in my home town, does not, as far as I'm aware have a similar policy nor such stand offish employees. Might the biscuits not be shelved higher in future and man's best friend permitted into buildings which were once in public ownership. Yours sincerely, Pauline Wallin, Kenilworth, Warwickshire.
