  • Nice place to walk and chill
  • Lovely nature walk
  • Built by the engineer John Rennie as part of the Lancaster Canal, this really is an impressive structure. It was completed in 1797 for the sum of £48,320 and is as solid today as the day it was built. Well worth a short walk from Lancaster City Centre either following the River Lune or the Canal.
