  • This cafe could be really good, they have the right atmosphere and trendy decor, but fall short on some basics. Numerous visits have left us disappointed with the lack of food on offer, with pre-made ...  more »
  • The title says it all. As a coffee roaster with a cafe the coffee doesn't get much better. But the space is lovely too and the old shop is a marvel .
  • Best coffee in Lancaster with fresh home baked cakes .The coffee shop has a great vintage atmosphere and pays homage to Lancaster's history.Definitely highly recommended.

  • Nice place with a great selection of coffee, but we weren't impressed with the staff. We asked her about the Christmas coffee and she didn't have a clue. She then proceeded to chat to her friend behind the counter, apparently completely oblivious to the fact that we could hear every word (that sort of happens when you're 3 feet away on the other side of the counter). Great coffee let down by uninterested/untrained staff.
  • My wife an I popped in here having seen an advert in the Lancaster District magazine whilst drinking an awful flat white at another establishment in the town. I just wish we'd know about this place first. I really enjoy my coffee, as you enter the shop you are transferred in to a coffee lovers dream. The rich smell of coffee roasting fills the places and your senses are filled with a variety of delights to look at. Wether it's brewing equipment, carefully selected loose tea, a variety of local beers and specialist whiskeys gin and rum to the huge variety of hand roasted coffees you will not be disappointed. The staff we're extremely help and knowledgeable providing me with a great espresso roast and a drip alternative for my aeropress. I can't wait to try them. I just wish this place was in Wales. It would certainly become a regular place for me to visit.
  • what a gem of a shop, personally I go for the tea which is great - Irish Breakfast or the Lancaster blends being amazing
  • An Aladdin's cave of amazing coffee and coffee gadgetry (and tea!)
  • The coffee is lovely but the shop was let down by rude and unhelpful staff.
