  • On the occasion of a tour of Scotland with friends we spent a night in the Lanark Mills hotel. After we had morning beautiful weather, we walked to the falls of Clyde. The waterfalls are although not spectacular, but the trail is very well built and maintained and it was just beautiful and very idyllic, walking along the river.

  • There is a pleasant walk - steep and slippery in places, but not too difficult for the average walker. The path meanders through a wooded nature reserve, and there are local peregrines and badgers too...  read more »
  • Excellent place for a family day out. Plenty to do. Walks, restaurant, etc.
  • Great for adults, children and dogs. Beautiful scenery.
  • Cozy micro hiking with some waterfalls. very little water at the time, but lovely anyway.
