Where to stay in Penzance

B&B, inns, and hotels along the narrow streets of the city center provide a convenient location for reaching the harbor and the city's other main attractions. Luxury resorts and four star hotels are typically found near the water and the Granite Coast Walk, while less expensive lodging is farther inland. Rental properties, such as cottages situated between St. Ives and Penzance, offer views and city access.

  • Ok so there's not a lot to see, but if you're from the states, not going to find these at home. So for that reason if you are in the area, stop and visit ancient stone formations. We used it as a wayl...  more »

  • There is a small parking area (3-4 cars) right beside the road. The stone circle can be reached after just 100m or so. It's fine but not overwhelming.
  • Very nice and tranquil place! Beautiful landscape and interesting history. It was not much information at the site so I recommend reading about it before the visit. Easy to find and parking is free. When we visited it was no other people there, a great contrast to Stonehenge where it was crowded.
  • A lovely perfectly formed stone circle they don't make Em like this anymore as with any circle it can be ruined when you approach and there's people already there my advice is to strip off and start dancing around naked it's soon clears them off.
  • A beautiful setting for these Standing stones. They are magnificent well preserved circle.
  • Lovely place and for those whom love "energy flows", just amaizing
