  • Such a lot to see as you drive along, but without local knowledge you really can't prepare ahead - will I ever get there agin from Australia?  more »
  • Who is interested in is right place for mystical sites. Right next to the road, behind a hedge a small stone circle hides the merry maidens. Completely get no entrance fee is required and no one there is likely. That makes it at least interesting and photos without people possible. Must be not seen, but already by driving a short detour in any case is recommended.

  • Very nice and tranquil place! Beautiful landscape and interesting history. It was not much information at the site so I recommend reading about it before the visit. Easy to find and parking is free. When we visited it was no other people there, a great contrast to Stonehenge where it was crowded.
  • A beautiful setting for these Standing stones. They are magnificent well preserved circle.
  • A lovely perfectly formed stone circle they don't make Em like this anymore as with any circle it can be ruined when you approach and there's people already there my advice is to strip off and start dancing around naked it's soon clears them off.
  • Lovely place and for those whom love "energy flows", just amaizing
  • Lovely compact stone circle. Close to the road. Easy access.
