The Falls of Glomach, in Ross-shire, Scotland, is one of the highest waterfalls in Britain, at 113 m (370 ft).The falls border Kintail, donated to the National Trust for Scotland in 1944 and subsequently incorporating West Affric in 1993. It is not easily reached on foot, requiring an 8 kilometre trek through remote and wild countryside.

  • This was a 5 mile walk each way, which was the shortest route to access the waterfall. Some parts were boggy and the climb up to the top of the falls was precipitous in places and required a little sc...  more »
  • What a beautiful walk in to find these falls, makes for a great rest day if you've been giving the munro's a bashing - cycle in too if your not a big walker you won't be disappointed!  more »
  • In the words of our landlady, this is not a picknick walk. The falls are absolutely worth a visit, but the walk is strenuous in place. As in: not a walk for a "resting" day, even though it's "only" ab...  more »
