The Falls of Glomach, in Ross-shire, Scotland, is one of the highest waterfalls in Britain, at 113 m (370 ft).The falls border Kintail, donated to the National Trust for Scotland in 1944 and subsequently incorporating West Affric in 1993. It is not easily reached on foot, requiring an 8 kilometre trek through remote and wild countryside.

  • Walking to the falls, especially in the snow, is quite an undertaking. However they are well worthwhile.  more »
  • Touring the Highlands takes you to a different world, the wonder of its unique landscape that leaves you breathless. A place that definitely return to continue dating.

  • Scenery is beautiful, especially with a little overcast day. Nice to have a breath of fresh air or a piece of walking

  • Spectacular vertigo inducing waterfall that plunges 100m into a gorge. Allow 4.5hrs there and back from the car park at Dorusduain (a longer circular route is also possible). Worth the hike.
