Had a nice walk around the house and gardens. Parking was plentiful and the tour was very interesting.

Fantastic place. The tour of the house is very good (well done Vicki), it's a shame you can't take photos in there. You can easily spend that day with the kids around the grounds, dinosaur walk and activity park. Cafe is a bit overpriced but other than that a great family day out. Definitely come again.
A really interesting location to visit with something for everyone. The house is not huge but packed with info about its residents including the author Edward Bulwer-Lytton and there are helpful staff to provide information, there are displays about the more recent rock concerts held in the grounds, and there is a fascinating small exhibition about India as one resident was Viceroy of India. There are beautiful formal gardens, and also in the grounds there is an impressive and educational dinosaur park with very thorough information boards about each one. You can also get a old-fashioned shuttle bus down to the children’s play area. There is an excellent spacious modern refectory providing drinks, sandwiches and cakes as well as some hot dishes. Would definitely recommend it. Parts of the site are not always open due to events etc. so best to check in advance.
Good day out with kids. Nice place for a picnic and a walk. I think the price is a little too high just to use the playground and walk the garden but I tend to go once a year. Nice day out. Poor value for money
Beautifull garden, nice castle, Dinopowse Park, playground - very good and comparably inexpensive.
Fantastic tour, incredible history, beautiful house and gardens
