  • Interesting place to visit in a pleasant area.
  • We were visiting Kirriemuir to pay homage to the Bon Scott statue and found this place by accident: it's towards the back of town up the hill. Run by volunteers, a husband and wife team were on duty when we visited, its been restored to a high standard. Groups of visitors (up to 6 at a time?) are taken in to view the Camera Obscura with the staff showing how it works etc. Having never visited a Camera Obscura before I found it interesting. In fact it even kept the kids amused: no doubt helped by the cheery delivery and explanations from the staff. It doesn't take long to see all there is to see, maybe 15 mins, but its well worth a visit if you're in Kirriemuir.
  • Unique local attraction, run by an amazing team of volunteers. Must visit if you're in Kirriemuir.
  • Very informative, friendly fun staff and with a small cafe for snacks.
  • definitely worth a visit
