  • Walked round the Lake and grounds really lovely . Small craft shops were varied and had some particularly nice gifts . Jewellery shop had some lovely pieces . Then we had lunch in the restaurant/coffe...  more »
  • Apart from the cafe where staff were lovely and the food looked good, hardly any shops were open , three to be precise, we travelled miles too.  more »

  • Eclectic mix of coffee shop/restaurant, farm shop, and arts/crafts studios. Lunch was fresh, prompt and served by friendly staff. A quick detour off the main road and worth the stop. Minus one star for weak tea.
  • Outstanding place to stop by on the way to Scotland. They serve a great lunch prepared with local ingredients and the staff is very welcoming.
  • Great hidden gem, get a meal, browse some shops, break up your journey
  • Nice setting however a bit of a limited kids menu
  • Beautiful spot!
