  • I went to flamingo land on a paid school trip and was so excited as i had never been here before. i really enjoyed the zoo, the ferris wheel and a peddling carriage ride. My friends went on the 'dino-roller' but i stayed at the bottem to wait for them. whilst i was waiting the ride operator (my friend said his name was Daniel) kept calling me a wuss and pointing me out in front of everyone else on the ride. At first it seemed kind of jokey but after a while he wasnt laughing and it felt quite humiliating. about an hour later i decided to try and go on the 'dino roller' to prove him wrong.I got on and he instantly remembered me. He started calling me a wuss again and saying that its a little kids ride. He asked me if im scared of going really fast and i said "yeah a bit" he then said "ill turn the speed up then" but when he said it he didnt sound like he was joking. Even the people in front of me were saying that that was so rude. Before setting off he said that if i want to get off i just need to put my hand up. i trusted him so i got comfy and relaxed a little bit. We set off and i was completey fine until we got to the bottem where i couldnt breathe at all. i felt so sick and just wanted to get off. he slowed down the ride to talk to us for a minute. I raised my hand clearly in the air and so did my friend. he looked over at my friend and she said "she wants to get off, i think shes going to be sick" he gave her a blank look and pressed the 'go' button again. i felt so annoyed but mainly scared. this carried on for the whole ride. The people in front were saying that he's so rude and mean and so was my friend. I am very dissapointed :(
  • We went to this amusement park on Sat and all seemed ok to start but then the issue I had was with the queuing the place was not exeptionally busy but the queues where very bad and the rides did seem to break down quite a bit we queue for over an hour for one ride then waited in a queue to go on another but gave up after 20mins as it had obviously broken down but the staff gave no indication or advise on why or how long it would be they just sat around laughing and joking (not helpful when stood waiting) so we went away looked around saw that the water chute had also broken down, went back to the motet bike ride which broke down again as we where queuing the site was OK I thought though that the 4D cinema was rubbish, luckily we did not pay full price to get in as I would have felt quite aggreaved paying £37 each just to queue and see broken equipment
  • The best theme park north of Alton towers, a great day out for everyone, great rides and the food isn't too pricey, I get the fish and chips as I feel you get better value for money as opposed to other food on offer, parking is free which is always a bonus. I've been many times and will be going back this summer. As with all theme parks you have to expect queues but you can buy the queue busters if you want to be smug going straight to the front past everyone who's been queueing for ages for £2 a go. Ps there's also a zoo 😊
  • Great day out, 22nd May. There was enough rides for the kids and was some for adults. We brought our own picnic, as we know there park food can be pricey however, we did but ice cream which was not actually that expensive. The ride mix is great and there was a big variety of roller coasters. The ride queue for us was arround 15 minutes (at the most!). The zoo was good. Flamingo land does a lot of conservation work, and focuses on educating the children. The enclosures are a little smaller than I expected, particularly on the aquarium. Overall the theme park and zoo was a great full family day out.
  • Great Theme Park, aload to do for everyone; water rides, the zoo, Birds Of Prey, rollercoasters, and mini rollercoasters for little ones.
