Small Breeds Farm Park and Owl Centre Reviews

We (adultsx2 plus kidsx2) arrived early and spent the whole day at the centre. The staff were great, owl feeding at 13:30 was a high point. The pheasants goats and reindeers are not to be missed. Hand... more »

My 16 year old daughter loves owls. Her grandma gave her the owl experience as a birthday present and it did not disappoint. She spent 2 hours learning about owls, feeding baby owls, and taking the 4 ... more »

This really is a little gem of a place, wish we lived near enough to visit regularly. Lots of animals that all looked very well cared for. Very friendly and informative staff. Best bit is that there a... more »
I don't leave reviews often, but I've been to several different small-scale animal farms like this, and this is genuinely the best I've been to. The animals look happy, with good information around the park which explains the conditions of the animals, the staff are all approachable, friendly and really knowledgeable. Everything is reasonably priced and you can definitely see it's a labour of love instead of a profit driven business. If you're within 3 hours driving range, I'd absolutely suggest you visit.
Great day out. Not a full days worth but a good 3 or 4 hours. The place has expanded every time we've been. Lots of usual farm animals like goats, chickens, pigs but also some others like the alpacas, chipmunks and various breeds of pheasants. Large owl sanctuary on site with some rare breeds on display. Also has cafe and picnic area.
Good place to visit. Plenty to see for a few hours. Would be great for children. Friendly helpful staff. Well worth the trip.
Great place for the kids. Very hands on. Went along because my youngest child wanted to go, and it far exceeded my expectations.
My nephews loved the baby owlets. Was disappointed that we had gone round the whole venue in hour and a half. Was expensive for what was available and had no family tickets. Well kept animals and can visit even in the rain.
