  • An amazing, beautiful place to visit and stroll. The cafe certainly does NOT need updating as one visitor has suggested! The design and feel of the cafe and the surroundings reflects a comfortable atmosphere of days now gone, and to "modernise" or "update" it would be sacrilege! One of the best gardens I have visited since Kew gardens some time ago! My grandson loved it here and so did I and the entrance fee was very reasonable! Stunning place!
  • Lovely warm, quite tea room. Good selection of Acers for sale.
  • The whole garden was beautiful especially the trees in their autumn colours. What is the name of the tree at the entrance which is a magnificent red? Where can I buy one?
  • Fantastic gardens and beautiful greenhouse and shop. The café really needs updating. But the teas and coffee is good!
  • Beautiful gardens with an excellent café. A moderate walk through their wood is also very good. Recommended
