An amazing, beautiful place to visit and stroll. The cafe certainly does NOT need updating as one visitor has suggested! The design and feel of the cafe and the surroundings reflects a comfortable atmosphere of days now gone, and to "modernise" or "update" it would be sacrilege! One of the best gardens I have visited since Kew gardens some time ago! My grandson loved it here and so did I and the entrance fee was very reasonable! Stunning place!
Lovely warm, quite tea room. Good selection of Acers for sale.
The whole garden was beautiful especially the trees in their autumn colours. What is the name of the tree at the entrance which is a magnificent red? Where can I buy one?

Fantastic gardens and beautiful greenhouse and shop. The café really needs updating. But the teas and coffee is good!
Beautiful gardens with an excellent café. A moderate walk through their wood is also very good. Recommended
